Our purpose is to glorify God through worship, to proclaim the Good News of Christ’s gospel, and to reach out to others with God’s love.

Faith

St. Andrew’s responds to the command of Christ to love one another by: glorifying God in spiritually uplifting worship accessible to all, proclaiming the Gospel through an active education program for all ages, serving those in need, and providing leadership in our community and the Church at large.

Presbyterian Communities

We are excited to introduce our two sister churches, Knox and Trinity , each bringing unique strengths and vibrant communities. Land Statement

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church acknowledges and thanks the lək̓ wəŋən People – W̱SÁNEĆ, Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations – on whose traditional land we meet and worship.

Uniting In Faith

Discussions on a potential merger with Knox Presbyterian Church have ended as it was agreed that such initiative will not be further pursued for the time being. Nevertheless, we will continue to collaborate in various areas as we have in past years.

PCC Structure

The Presbyterian Church in Canada comprises four levels, or courts: Session (at the congregational level), Presbytery, Synod, and, since 1875, the General Assembly. The General Assembly Office (GAO) serves the Church by providing leadership and support in the area of governance.
